Yes. €8.99 once, and GreenCube is yours. There’s no subscription, no renewal, no monthly fee and no second charge later. If it were rented, we’d have called it something else.
What do I need to run it?
A Windows 10 or 11 computer. On first run it downloads the AI itself, a few gigabytes, once, and after that everything happens on your machine.
Do I need internet?
Only twice: to sign in once so we can confirm you paid, and to download the AI the first time. After that it works with no connection at all, on a plane, in a blackout, or when the servers are down.
If it’s private, why do I need an account?
The sign-in only checks that you bought it. It never sees a conversation, a document or an image, those are answered on your computer and never sent anywhere.
Is it as smart as ChatGPT?
Honestly, no. The big cloud models run on hardware the size of a building and they’re more capable. GreenCube is a genuinely useful AI that is private, unlimited and yours. That’s the trade, and we’d rather you know it now than feel misled later.
How fast is it?
It depends on your computer, because the AI runs on your computer, not on a server. Think of it like a game: the same title runs smoother on a stronger machine. So it won’t answer as instantly as ChatGPT’s data centres, and on a lighter laptop replies arrive a bit slower. On most machines it’s comfortably usable, and it’s always private, unlimited and yours.
